Defense, Ammunition and Weapons Industry

The defense and weapons industry have their own challenges in terms of surface finishing and sanitation levels. It also carry’s a lot of privacy therefore we cannot disclose existing customers who have used our machines for their processes. We have produced numerous wash plants to wash many components from portable rocket launchers to ammunition shells and hand guns.

Sometimes the components need blast cleaning and the Aquablast has been used numerous times for this application. The Aquablast range gives a superior finish compared to dry blasting. On titanium components there is also a reduced risk of explosion when using a wet blasting machine. Normally when Titanium is blasted, it can be explosive and the preference with the wet machine for this is obvious as the risk is reduced, where the operator is concerned. The Aquablast machine leaves the components with a superior surface finish.

The Jetwash range of machines we offer can also be used within the weapons and ammunition industry. This range is made up of many standard sizes starting from the smaller top loading machines to the larger front loading machines. The Jetwash machines are designed to simultaneously wash and degrease components using hot water and detergent. The larger front loading Jetwash machines have multi stage washing such as wash, followed by a secondary wash and rinse. These machines produce very high cleanliness levels for small and large components with the wide model range we offer.

Another popular machine that can be used within this industry is the Agiwash. The Agiwash range uses the immersion process to clean components. This is the preferred option by many companies to clean thoroughly and get into hard to reach areas such as blind holes and cavities.

You can even improve the purity levels of your components by using the Agisonic range. These machines feature ultrasonics to return a superior level of cleanliness. This particular machine cleans using the immersion process like the Agiwash, but the Agisonic range has the addition of the ultrasonics. The ultrasonics create a cavitation process which is the formation of bubbles that generates shockwaves alongside the object to thoroughly clean the part. For companies with stricter cleanliness levels, the Agisonic machine is the preferred option.
