Brisbane Blast and Paint

Brisbane Blast and Paint in Australia purchased our Aquablast machine three years ago and have never looked back!

The family-owned abrasive blasting and spray-painting business contacted Vixen in 2018 to enquire about our bestselling Aquablast range.

Before discovering the endless possibilities with vapor blasting, the company were washing and cleaning parts by hand which was very time consuming with unsatisfactory results.

Stuart Campbell said:

“We looked all over to purchase a vapour blast machine and settled on the Vixen unit from the UK.“

Now the team can offer a unique service that not many in their region can replicate. Not only does the Vixen Aquablast achieve superior results for the company, but it also has increased custom and profits.

“We win a lot of jobs since we had the Aquablast as we can offer clients a one-stop-shop for restoration projects!“

Even after three years, Stuart and his team are still “blown away with the exceptional results the machine produces.“ He also noted that they still find new things to vapour blast.

Vixen’s Aquablast range uses a wet blasting process of water mixed with abrasive media to clean by flow rather than impact. The combination of water and media creates a slurry that simultaneously blast cleans parts quickly and effectively.

When the machine was first installed, Brisbane Blast and Paint were using the machine to process truck parts for general refurbishment. But this soon attracted a wide range of customers who wanted to vapour blast components for engine rebuilds on cars and motorbikes. Even right down to a swimming badge the size of a coin, small brass labels and other restoration projects.

One of the many reasons our Aquablast machines are exported globally every week is the hassle-free installation.

“No set up was needed just pull the trigger and clean the parts on demand. We have opened it to the public and have a growing client base!“

We also asked Stuart what he thought of our aftersales department and he noted that like any machine with general wear and tear of the years, parts have been sent straight away with express shipping.

“Aftersales are great, its easy to order replacement parts or items that wear out over time. Parts are usually received with a week from UK to Australia.“
