Aquablast 1215
Case study overview

AAA Technology, based in New Zealand, purchased the Aquablast 1215 to restore aluminium parts and clean hard chromed components used in the plastic industry. They are currently working with a local manufacturer of plastic film, to provide them with a finishing solution for their extruder parts using the Aquablast machine.

Jonathan from AAA Technology based in New Zealand said:

“Dealing with Vixen, even from the other side of the world, was easy and straightforward. Communication between myself and Vixen were extremely prompt, and the team couldn’t have been more helpful throughout the whole process.”

AAA Technology also offer specialist wire-cutting services to a company which manufactures and exports Orthopaedic Instrumentation. Their main business is manufacturing tooling for a local company who export roll forming machines to many countries including US, UK, Russia and South Africa.

“The Aquablast 1215 machine has added to my capacity in terms of diversity of work. Since purchasing the Aquablast machine, I have been able to blast a wider variety of parts. The system integrated into my workshop easily as the wet blasting technique doesn’t add any airborne contamination to the work environment, whereas I would have had to corner off a dry blasting cabinet due to the dust.”

Jonathan then went on to say:

“The addition of the Aquablast machine has allowed me to provide, in some cases, a much better finished product to my customers, as well as offering this finishing service to potential customers in related industries such as: Motorsport and Vehicle Restoration etc.”

“Purchasing the machine was straight forward, everything went as planned and the machine turned up when stated.”
