Case study overview
What The Customer Says:

"The equipment has been a superb addition to the tools our workshop use for refurbishing motorcycle engine components and we continue to find more applications to experiment with. The Aquablast 1215 has clearly reduced the time to refurbish these items compared to previous as we now have a factory finish and could not ask for better."

Alf's Motorcycles is a leading seller of new and used motorcycles providing services, MOT repairs and parts. Early in 2010, Alf's Motorcycles purchased a Vixen Aquablast 1215 machine for the cleaning and degreasing of refurbished motorcycle engine components.

Alf Hubbard, managing director at Alf's Motorcycles, said: "In December 2011 Practical Sports Bike Magazine, a magazine about buying, improving, restoring and riding the best motorbikes from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, visited us at Alf's motorcycles to write a featured article for their magazine. The subject being GPz’s filthy engine cases with the company's Aquablasting facilities. The editor of the magazine, Jim Moore, was looking for an alternative to prepping 750 cases and outer engine covers by hand and felt the Aquablast was a perfect fit. Jim's main aim was to remove the filth and flaking paint to reveal a clean and pristine aluminum surface."
